WINE STYLE

This wine is the first release of our classic Australian red blend, designed to be rich, yet soft and extremely approachable, showcasing the best of Australia’s ‘fruit forward’ style.

WINEMAKING

This blend of estate grown Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet franc has been minimally handled and therefore retains primary fruit characters, coupled with a balanced acidity and a refined tannin structure. The wine was matured in a combination of old and new French Oak for a combined average of 5 years.

TASTING NOTES

Aroma: A lifted bouquet of purple fruits leads to hints of mocha, pepper and dark chocolate.

Palate: Soft, round and seductive, with bright fruit characters of boysenberry, blackberry and dark cherry balanced with subtle oak noted. The tannins are fine gained and well-integrated.

PEAK DRINKING

This is an ideal wine for drinking now but will improve with further bottle aging.
